...for over 40 years

Company founder Uwe Meissner grew up with Ferrari. His father worked at the former Ferrari importer Auto Becker in Düsseldorf as a painter with a special dedication to the difficult nitro and thermoplastic paints that adorned earlier sports cars. At the age of 16, Uwe Meissner began an automotive apprenticeship at Auto Becker, where he succumbed to his passion for the sports cars from Maranello. He had the privilege of learning from Ferrari expert Egon Welling, who offered him the opportunity to go to Maranello with him. There he met Enzo Ferrari - an encounter that shaped his life and actions. After successfully completing his master car mechanic examination, Uwe Meissner founded his own company in 1983 - Modena Motorsport was born. Together with his father, whom he poached from Auto Becker, and his current chief mechanic Andreas Stoodt, Uwe Meissner quickly earned the trust of many collectors for the care and maintenance of their vehicles as well as for new purchases. Today, a team of specialists works at Modena Motorsport, which enjoys an excellent reputation worldwide. In addition, there is a direct link to the Ferrari headquarters in Maranello, which offers a decisive advantage when it comes to obtaining blueprints and design plans or reproducing a missing part.
